Re: Roy Exum's email being hacked:

My goodness gracious do I feel terrible. Turns out all those ignorant, uninformed, misinformed and stupid articles Roy has been writing about Erlanger were actually written by a hacker. In London, England.

I knew Roy was too smart to have been duped by a small group of people promoting their self-interests.

Roy, I apologize. Forgive me.

Russell King
Erlanger Trustee

I wonder if Mr. King’s account was also hacked, or does he normally insult  people in a public forum?

I enjoy reading the articles posted on

com/" target=_blank>chattanoogan.com. Especially those by Roy, Royce and General Bell and others written by common folks with common sense. I also enjoy reading the articles from folks that don't have a clue. I have never responded. I am doing so now because of the note posted by the Erlanger trustee concerning Roy's hacking situation.

As a trustee this person is in a leadership role and the public face of Erlanger. He represents Erlanger to us. So I have to ask in this same public forum - is he the prime example of the "trust" of Erlanger or something outside the norm? If the answer is prime, no wonder the mother ship is in trouble. His note sounded like someone who has had the covers ripped off and he didn't like being exposed.

Roy has written articles shining a negative light on Erlanger's upper management. He has also written articles praising all the wonderful folks that work under that management and who are keeping the ship afloat until the right management situation can be established.

I received the hacking note concerning Roy's need. I knew it was fraud and sent it on to Roy. I am overjoyed to know that Roy is not in dire needs. But if he was where do I send the check.

My comment back to the "trustee" - you can say what you want but remember you never know who is standing right in front of him.

I certainly agree with Mr. Morgan on all of his comments.

If Mr. Exum and Mr. King were indeed fortuneless, I dare say the line of those, like myself, who wished to help Mr. Exum would far outstretch the handful in Mr. King’s line.

IMHO, Erlanger would be in far better shape today if there were more Trustees of Roy’s caliber and less of Russell’s.

Goodness gracious, does anyone not have a sense of humor anymore. It was very apparent that Russell King's response to Roy was done in jest.

I also received Roy's London message but immediately recognized it as a hoax as another friend had been a victim of the same hacking a few weeks earlier. One thing both she and Roy had in common was their name was their e-mail address.
