Anne Becker Gribben, of Hixson, died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 15, 2013.  She was 84.

Anne was born in Spartanburg, S.C., to the late William and Mazie Becker.  She had been a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Becker of Houston, Texas and a sister, Mary Katherine Shutting of Chattanooga.

Anne was a very loving mother and is survived by her children, Kathy (Ken) Mara, Tom (Theresa) Gribben, Jodie (Tom) Wilson, Patty (Bill) Marsh and Gina (Rob) Gaddis; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 930 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

A memorial mass will follow at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charlie Burton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 214 North Highland Park Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404. 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
