The Tennessee Farm Bureau will celebrate its national Food Check-Out Week by donating more than $500 worth of food items to Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House Charities this Monday, which is the designated Food Check-Out Day. The core idea behind Food Check-Out Week is to encourage healthy eating among consumers on limited budgets and to show support of American farmers and ranchers committed to producing safe, abundant and healthy food.
Local, county, and state farm bureaus across the country will donate food to Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. This partnership began over 10 years ago.
