Floyd  Jackson, 60, of  LaFayette, GA, died Friday February 15, 2013.

He was a member of the Community Baptist Church at LaFayette.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Joyner Jackson of LaFayette; sons and wives, Ched (Joanna) Jackson, Trion and Daniel (Jennifer) Jackson, LaFayette; sisters, Frances Jackson, LaFayette, Virginia Biles, Senoia, Georgia, Margie Meehan, LaFayette and Inez Wallin, LaFayette; brothers, Gene Jackson, LaFayette and Kenneth Jackson, LaFayette; grandchildren, Courtney King, Carter Jackson and Lukas Jackson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Sunday, February 17 at 3 p.m. Service will be conducted by Rev. Lowell Cantrell, and Rev. Jim Powell. Pallbearers are the men of Community Baptist Church. Interment will be in McIntyre Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, February 16 from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, February 17 from 1-3 p.m.

Chance, Oliver (South Pittsburg)

Oliver Chance, 87, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, April 28, 2017, at his home. The son of the late Joseph Francis and Josie Melvannia Stewart Chance, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and served in Germany. Rodney Jerome Tofte, 77, of Lafayette, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on  Friday , April, 21. He was predeceased by his parents, Durwood Tofte, Mary Calvert, and brother, Steven Tofte. Sandra Lue Smith, 66, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in a local health care facility, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born in Cedar Bluff, Al., to Cleveland, Sr. and Vadie Stallings Smith.  Sandra attended Lafayette High School in Lafayette, Ga. William Jessie Taylor,  47, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Will was born at the Naval Base in Groton, Ct., on Nov. 12, 1969. Body Believed To Be That Of McCallie Student Jackson Standefer Recovered In Colorado River
