Faddie DeFur, 87, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, died at her home on Friday, February 15, 2013.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. DeFur.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna DeFur, Chattanooga and Connie DeFur Hicks, Soddy Daisy; four sons, Lonnie (Joyce) DeFur, Chattanooga, Donnie (Connie) DeFur, Chattanooga, Ronnie (Simon) DeFur, Chattanooga and Monnie DeFur, Chattanooga; one sister, Bobbie White, Chattanooga; one brother, William Alfred Francis, Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace. Interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Powell’s Crossroads.

The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, and all day Tuesday at the funeral home.
