Police Seeking Martell Jones On 2 Armed Robberies

Chattanooga Police are seeking the location and arrest of Martell Jones in connection with two armed robberies.

Police said Jones was involved with a robbery from the Speed Mart at 3100 Dodds Ave. and the Cricket Store at 2700 Broad St.

Jones was armed with a weapon during both robberies.

Jones has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, attempted murder, and kidnapping.

Another scam has been reported in Bradley County by a citizen who voiced concerns that other people could become a victim of the hoax. The citizen received a check in the mail for $4,450, the prize he received for winning the “UK & North America Customer Reward Sweepstakes.” The letter had instructions to call a phone number for details on paying the tax liability of $2,800. ...
