William Alfred Francis, 84, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home.  

He was a retired iron worker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Francis; and his son, William E. Francis.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda Waters and Sandra Scissom; son, Anthony (Joleen) Francis; sister, Barbara Hatfield; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Interment will follow in Francis Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.

McDonald, Annie

Annie McDonald, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, June 26, 2015 in a Nashville health care facility. Boyd Asks Coppinger For Public Apology; Does Not Get One
