Michael Grayson Beasley, 60, of Spencer, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. 

He was a member of the Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church. Grayson was the current sheriff of Van Buren County and a member of the Sheriff's Association. 

Preceding him in death were his mother, Nellie Belle Beasley and half-brother, Eddie Hodge. 

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Beasley; son, Tommy Beasley, McMinnville; daughter, Emily Beasley, Murfreesboro; step-daughters, Heather Winnett, Jasmine and Camillia Scott; step-son, William Scott all of Spencer; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Charlie Winnett; grandson, Gerard Beasley; father, Kender Beasley, Spencer; two sisters, Gloria (Bobby) Scott and Tammy (Griffen) Anderson, both of Spencer; half-brother, Danny Hodge; half-sister, Donna Boles; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Services will be on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. CST at the Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Wayne Sullivan and Brother Jason Graham officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12 p.m. CST until service time on Saturday at the church.
