Betty Jean Wilkins Traylor, 74, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her long-time home in Rossville after a long struggle with COPD.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor John Headrick officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.

Robert Emmett Ashby, Jr., 80, of Hixson, Tennessee, died on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Soddy Daisy Healthcare Center.  He was born and raised in Madisonville, Ky. Truck Bursts Into Flames On I-75 Near Tunnel Hill; Traffic At Standstill For Hours

A truck burst into flames after wrecking with another vehicle on I-75 near Tunnel Hill on Saturday afternoon. There were injuries reported in the fiery accident in the southbound lanes.
