Boyd-Buchanan 8th Grade Girls Win ISC Championship

Boyd-Buchanan’s Lady Bucs defeated Silverdale Baptist Academy Friday in the Middle School ISC Championship at St. Jude.  Coached by Cheryl Mynatt and Trish Nason, BBS lost a game earlier in the season to Silverdale.  They came back to beat them in their second regular-season match-up and again, 37-29, in the ISC Championship.

 

Boyd-Buchanan players selected to the all-conference team; Logan Highfield, Christina Amos, Kensley Parker, and Chandler Hiland.

  Highfield and Hiland were co-MVP’s.

 

Logan Highfield said, “I’m really proud of my team.  We came together this season and are like family.  After losing to Silverdale in the beginning of the season, I was glad we came back and ended up winning.”


Lee Tennis Team Falls To Citadel 6-3

Lee University’s men’s tennis team hosted The Citadel to open the 2017 season at the DeVos Tennis Center. Bryan Women Upset Second Seeded Reinhardt In AAC Semifinal

Down 35-25 at the half, the 6th seeded Bryan College Lions Women’s Basketball Team overwhelmed 2nd seeded Reinhardt University (Ga.) 14-5 in the third quarter and then 21-14 in the final period, completing a 60-54 upset of the Eagles in comeback fashion in the semifinal round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament Friday evening. City Police Officer Seriously Injured In Crash On Dodson Avenue

Lawsuit Charges That Georgia Law Firm Stole One Of The Woodmore Elementary Cases From Chattanooga Attorneys

A Circuit Court lawsuit charges that one of the Woodmore Elementary bus wreck cases was stolen from a Chattanooga law firm by Georgia attorneys just shortly after the Nov. 21 tragic crash that killed six students and injured others.
