Warren Essex

Warren Eugene Essex, 59, of Sale Creek, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. 

Warren was born in Dayton, Tn., on December 14, 1953. He worked as an electrician for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Essex; children, Cristy Ford of Chattanooga, Gary Neal of Jasper; grandchildren, Megan Ford, Shelby Neal, Jessica Neal, Ashley Willingham; brother, James (Linda) Essex of Whitwell; sisters, Lila (Carl) Lawson of Chattanooga, Barbara Alexander of Jasper, Frances Essex Austin of Dayton, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. 

Visitation with the family will be from 12-4 p.m. on Friday.

12 Lost Hikers Rescued At Rainbow Lake, Edwards Point

Eleven adults and a child were briefly lost at Rainbow Lake and Edwards Point trails on Signal Mountain on Sunday.
