Martin, Caroline Lucille "Caralu"

Caralu (Caroline Lucille) Martin, 55, died early Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

She is survived by her mother, Gaylia Cole, her sister, Lauri Martin, brother-in-law, Bill Adams, nephew, Eli Adams, four aunts, five uncles and eight cousins. 

Caralu taught at Chattanooga State for many years. 
 
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

A private interment service will be held in Oneida, Tn., at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Caralu's memory to The Chattanooga Tumor Clinic, 975 East 3rd Street, Box 241, Chattanooga, Tn. 37403, or Tennessee Humane Animal League/Pet Placement Center, 5975 Dayton Blvd., Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

Car Crashes Into Motel 6 In Dalton; Driver, 17, Admits To Texting While Driving

The Dalton Police Department and Dalton Fire Department responded Saturday morning to a crash at the Motel 6 at Highway 41 and Tibbs Road.
