Claude Walker Rothwell, 84, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013, at his home.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from TVA with over 25 years of service. Mr. Rothwell was a member of Red Bank Masonic Lodge and Alhambra Shrine. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Laura Rothwell.
Survivors include his daughters, Vicki Rothwell and Linda Lanier, both of Red Bank; sons, Clifford (Linda) Goft of Alabama and Kurt (Kim) Rothwell of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Richard Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Joe Summers, James Gault, Joe DeMary, Ron Talwater, Jerry Carter and Ed Hargis will serve as pallbearers.
