James “Jim” Walter Eick, 82, of Ooltewah, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at his home.

He worked for Exxon Oil Company for approximately 34 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Crossville, Tn.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Leo R. and Millie Hoffman Eick; sister, Marjorie Ann Eick Knowlden.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Nita Eick; stepdaughters, Linda (Mark) Koenig, Gloria (Leonard) Kidd; Shirley (John) Rose and Karen (Dan) Rhoads; stepson, John Wulf; several step-grandchildren, and great grandchildren; four nieces and three nephews.

Burial will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date.
