Joseph N. Lockman died on Saturday, February 23, 2013.  

He was a loving father and exceptional grandfather.  His grandchildren were the pride of his life.  He was a faithful member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church in Rossville. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin Thomas and Claudia Kelley Lockman; brother, M.K. Lockman; sister, Margaret Lockman Willingham and wife, Betty Lockman.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Kelley Lockman; grandchildren, Emily Rachel Lockman and Samuel Joseph Lockman; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Glenda Lockman; niece, Tracie Moore; nephew, Michael T. Lockman; brother-in-law, John Willingham and other special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be in Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church in Rossville, on Monday, Feb. 25, from 4-8 p.m. Pastor George Pinion will conduct the service at 8 p.m. in the church.

Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
