Martin P. Orr, 88, of Red Bank, died peacefully at his home in August, 2011. 

A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a well-respected certified public accountant. He was a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and held office in several state and local organizations, most notably the Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. After retiring from Orr & Hamill CPAs, he volunteered his time with Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, providing Lifeline Response Service setup for older adults living alone.

His lifetime of generosity continued beyond his demise in the donation of his body to Vanderbilt Medical School for medical education and research.

Martin is survived by his daughter, Nancy Orr of Moab, Ut.

A memorial service to honor Martin, his wife, Evelyn and son, Timberlake will be held at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace on Saturday, March 2, at 1 p.m.
