3rd Member Of Bloom Family Dies From Wreck Injuries

A third member of the Bloom family has died from a tragic wreck in Etowah on Friday.

Linda Bloom and her daughter, Cayla Bloom, were killed initially.

John Dawson Bloom, 10, succombed later to his injuries.

Also hurt in the wreck was another child, Kadin Pike, and the father, David Bloom.

Authorities said Linda Bloom was driving the family's Saturn SUV when she pulled in front of a construction truck on Highway 411.

The family is from Delano in Polk County.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Herron officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

 


Motorcyclist Breaks Leg After Truck Pulls In Front Of Him

A motorcyclist suffered a broken leg in an accident on Friday. It happened on Highway 27 in Sale Creek. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said a truck pulled in front of the motorcycle that was going north. The injured biker was taken to a local hospital. (click for more)
