Walls, Ishmal Neal (Dalton)

Ishmal Neal Walls, 82, of Dalton, GA, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence. 

He was the son of the late Ed and Jessie Jones Walls; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Pete Walls; and his sisters, Alajean Walls Gaddis and Betty Walls Cox. 

Neal was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. 

He is survived by his wife, Teresa King Walls of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Melinda Wall of Dayton and Alan and Fallon Walls of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Carl Poteet of Dalton and Eva Mae and Carlos Cortez of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Andrea, Brittany, Faith, Quinton, Aca, Tara, Maeve and Maddie; and nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, February 25 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Steele and the Rev. Harold Poteet officiating. Burial will be in Spring Place Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday, February 24 from 4-8:30 p.m. 

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
