Robert “Bob” Cauley Cross, 80, of Dalton, GA, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadine Patricia Cross of the residence; daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly & Steve Barnes, of Cartersville, GA, Robbin Mallett, Tamra Wortman and Debra Curry, all of Dalton; son & daughter-in-law, Doug & Peggy Wortman of Lafayette, GA; and grandchildren, Zach Cochran, Chey Barnes, Lauren Cochran and Wesley Wortman.

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cross will be held Sunday, February 24, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples with Rev. Landon Brooks officiating. Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be: Steve Barnes, Chey Barnes, Zach Cochran, Douglas Wortman, Derek Brown and Josh Marshall.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Humane Society of NWGA, 1703 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721.
