Edmond Farris Ledford, 63, of Dalton, GA, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. 

Edmond was born December 5, 1949 in Whitfield County, GA, to the late Guy and Frances Louise Ledford. Edmond was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. 

Edmond is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Velma Iline and Charles Brown of Dalton; aunts,Bennie Wilbanks of Dalton, Betty Talley of Dalton, Leota Rollins of Mableton, GA. and Moniree Ledford of Clayton, GA; special friends; James Stone of Dalton and Linda and Reed Gee of Dalton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Edmond Ledford will be held Sunday, February 24, at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Cantrell and Pastor Michael Cook officiating. He will be laid to rest at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pall bearers. 

Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel.
