Milling And Paving Projects Beginning On Downtown Streets

There are several milling and paving projects that are beginning on downtown city streets.  Drivers need to be aware of the following areas: Broad Street from 4th Street to ML King Boulevard,  Chestnut Street from 4th Street to ML King Boulevard, 7th Street from Georgia Avenue to Pine Street. Broad Street will be starting on Monday at 7:00 a.m. Access to businesses will be allowed.  

All paving is weather permitting.

Tennessee American Water Awards Environmental Grant To Hamilton County Coalition

Signal Mountain Man Charged In Traffic Death Of Tunnel Hill Woman, 28

Authorities said a Signal Mountain man was driving when his vehicle struck and killed a woman walking along a road at Ringgold, Ga., on Thursday night. Tyler Alexander Lemley, 20, was charged with DUI. Other charges are pending. Chattanooga Woman Sues Over Treatment Of Disabled Daughter At Memphis Airport Security Checkpoint

A Chattanooga woman has filed suit, alleging that her disabled daughter was roughed up by airport police and Transportation Security Administration personnel at the Memphis Airport.
