Browns Agree For Trustee To Take Possession Of Their Property Except For Personal Items

Monday, February 25, 2013

Janet Brown, wife of Soddy Daisy tax advisor Jack E. Brown, has agreed that bankruptcy trustee Jerry Farinash can take possession of their real and personal property.

She asked that the trustee not take possession of personal items and household goods.

She said she would not remove any of the assets.

A voluntary bankruptcy was brought against the Browns alleging a $12-million Ponzi Scheme.

The Brown tax office has been sold.

Also, Bankruptcy Judge John Cook has ordered that Jack Brown, who has been ill, must submit to an examination and be required to bring requested documents with him.

Arrangements for the examination must be worked out within 20 days, the judge said.
