Moc Wrestlers Clinch SoCon Championship

The UTC wrestling team clinched the regular season SoCon championship Monday night with a convincing 30-4 win over Campbell.  The Mocs improve to 11-6 overall and 7-0 in the SoCon.

Covenant Women's Tennis Wins 9-0 Over Piedmont

For a second time in three conference matches, the Covenant women's tennis team produced a shutout as the Lady Scots claimed a 9-0 victory at Piedmont in USA South action  on Tuesday  afternoon. Covenant Tennis Wins 7-2 Over Piedmont

Less than a week ago, the Covenant men's tennis team suffered a tough 5-4 loss to Piedmont at home. On Tuesday afternoon in Demorest, the Scots avenged that loss in a big way as Covenant took three close victories in doubles play and then stormed to a 7-2 victory over Piedmont at the Burgen Tennis Courts. Police Shoot And Kill Sheriff's Office Employee After Disorder At Brainerd Home; 2 Off-Duty City Officers Were At Scene Of Altercation Where Shot Was Fired

Chattanooga Police responded to an altercation at a house in Brainerd early Wednesday morning and wound up shooting and killing an armed man, who is an employee of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Man Seriously Injured in Apartment Fire On Hickory Valley Road

A Chattanooga man was seriously injured in an apartment fire Tuesday  night . The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm around  7:15 p.m.  and responded to Evergreen Apartments at 1507 Hickory Valley Road with six fire companies.
