Dalton Fire Victim Was 70-Year-Old Disabled Man

A 70-year-old disabled man was found dead at a Dalton condo fire on Monday afternoon.

The Dalton Police Department and Dalton Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1523 Ashton Woods at approximately 3:38 p.m.

During the course of the investigation, personnel located the man inside the structure deceased.

The fire apparently started in his bed. He was found near the kitchen sink with his walker nearby.
