Grace Academy 5th Grade Girls Win Basketball Championship

The Grace Academy 5th grade girl's basketball team has captured its second consecutive ISC championship with a 27-21 victory over rival Silverdale Baptist.  
 
Grace head coach Jim Fulgham said the team had worked hard all season and he was proud of the accomplishments his girls made.
 
All-tournament selections were led by Grace leading scoring Holley Fulgham with 14 points and Megan long with 6. Joining those two on the All-tournament team were Lauren Smith and Abby McGaughey.
 
Other Grace team members are, Raygan Rogers, Courtney Jones, Sarah Kelley, Bayli Webb, Madison McDaniel. Coach Fulgham and assistant coach Mike Long. Also pictured is Grace Head Master Dr. Bill Summers.

Atlanta Braves Add Veteran Reliever, Jason Grilli

On Tuesday evening, Jason Grilli and the Braves reached an agreement on a two-year, $8.25 million deal that includes a $3 million option for the 2017 season. Dallas Bay Firefighters Save Home From Burning On Christmas Eve

Dallas Bay firefighters worked quickly to extinguish a house fire and save the Christmas tree and presents. At  5:30 a.m. , the Rankin family awoke to their smoke alarm alerting them throughout the house. The homeowner got up and found smoke and fire in the living room. A burglar struck at the home of a county paramedic on Tuesday morning, taking his son's Christmas presents among many other items. Paramedic Michael Chaigne discovered that his home had been burglarized while he was at work.
