Kenneth Scott Moreland, Sr., 48, of Rossville, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Kenneth was a beloved husband, father, paw-paw, son, brother, and uncle.

He was formerly employed with Custom Curb and was currently working at Curbs Plus.  

Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents Tim and Geneva Dagnan, Louise Keef, and mother-in-law, Mamie Simpson.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Simpson Moreland; sons and daughters-in-law, James and B.J. Moreland and Scott and Shea Moreland, all of Rossville; son, Jason Simpson, Ringgold; daughter, Amanda Moreland, LaFayette; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Jay Carpenter, Rossville; parents, Leslie and Sue Moreland, Rossville; sisters, Diana Moreland and Leslie (Phil) Hill of LaFayette; brother, Tim (Tina) Moreland, Lawrenceville, Ga.; brother-in-law, Gary (Gina) Simpson; sister-in-law, Kelly (Jeremy) Lacy; grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Jacob and Ethan Moreland, Ryan Simpson, Autumn, Andrew, Riley, and Nicholas Moreland, Sophia and Emmah Carpenter, and Holland Herod; several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Darrel Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
