Billy Ray Trew, 65, of Decatur, TN, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Mary Grigsby Trew; brother J.B Trew; and sister, Barbara “Bobbie” Trew. 

Billy was of the Church of God faith. He was born March 27,1947. 

Survivors include his wife of over 40 years, Susan “Susie” Goines Trew; son, Billy Trew jr. and his wife Stacy; brother Clyde Trew; and sister, Mildred Miller, all of Decatur. 

The funeral will be held Thursday, February 28 at 8 p.m. with Pastor Wendy Barick officiating at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Mtn View Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the Bowers Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Bowers Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

Harrell B. Bidwell, 67, of Ten Mile, TN, died on Saturday, May 18, 2013.  He was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. He served as County Commissioner looking out for the good of the people of Meigs County.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ida Mae (McHone) Bidwell; wife, Hazel Joyce Bidwell; and two brothers, Dallas and Donald Bidwell.  ... Rogers, 20, Shot Twice While Standing On His Porch

A 20-year-old man was shot twice while standing on his porch on Monday night. At approximately 8:44 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Walker Street.
