Local Quickcue Firm Unveils Complete Table Management System

Thursday, February 28, 2013
Quickcue, the tablet App created to serve restaurant hosts, staff, managers and owners, has announced the launch of complete Table Management. Building upon its wait list and one-touch text paging capabilities, Quickcue has added a new suite of tools designed to put the entire restaurant at your fingertips, according to officials of the Chattanooga-based firm.

"Since last year, we have been transforming the host stand and guest experience in restaurants around the country through our iPad-based wait list, mobile text and voice paging application," said CEO Bo Ferger.
"But restaurants need efficient, intuitive tools throughout every shift, at every moment – not only when there is a wait. So we evolved our technology to meet restaurants' very obvious and real needs by adding table management into our platform."

Quickcue's Table Management tools include floor maps customized by the company for each restaurant, and the ability to assign shifts and sections, add timers, servers, guest names and party size to each table. Seating efficiency functions include pre-assigning, reserving and combining tables, while simple color cues show the status of every table (open, seated, dirty, closed).

The App also offers multiple device syncing giving staff the ability to update the host stand with new arrivals, check the wait list and change table status from anywhere.

Mr. Ferger said, "Guests love the text and voice paging, allowing them the freedom to wait where they want to wait, and opening up the restaurant's lobby for new arrives. Hosts and servers also love the one-touch tags and custom notes that add key information about each guest's visit, and captures it in an archive so they can tailor and enhance future visits."

"The more we know about our guests, the better we can tailor our service and hospitality approach to individual needs," said Rob Stickley, vice president of revenue for Craftworks Restaurants. "Quickcue helps us gather the information we need to provide a one-of-a-kind guest experience."

"Quickcue is a progressive, hassle-free table and waitlist management system ideal for any owner/operator who has the guests' needs in mind," said Jennifer Vincent manager of the high-volume Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga..

Quickcue is "a team of software engineers and restaurant experience strategists who imagine and develop technologies with a purpose – to remove the frustrations that restaurants and their guest face every day, and so inspire exceptional hospitality."

When my son Jack and I met for breakfast over the weekend, we discovered Tupelo Honey Café on Market Street. We parked in the Warehouse Row area. We had a nice ... (click for more)

Roy Exum: UT Ain’t Heard Nothing Yet!

Just moments before Florida would seal a football 10-9 victory over Tennessee in early October, the student section in Neyland Stadium stooped to a new low when it vociferously chanted, “F*** you, Florida! F*** you, Florida!” It was shocking, a loud and vulgar display of all that sportsmanship isn’t, and served as a great embarrassment to Knoxville and the university. Jimmy Cheek, ... (click for more)
