Local Quickcue Firm Unveils Complete Table Management System

Quickcue, the tablet App created to serve restaurant hosts, staff, managers and owners, has announced the launch of complete Table Management. Building upon its wait list and one-touch text paging capabilities, Quickcue has added a new suite of tools designed to put the entire restaurant at your fingertips, according to officials of the Chattanooga-based firm.

"Since last year, we have been transforming the host stand and guest experience in restaurants around the country through our iPad-based wait list, mobile text and voice paging application," said CEO Bo Ferger.
"But restaurants need efficient, intuitive tools throughout every shift, at every moment – not only when there is a wait. So we evolved our technology to meet restaurants' very obvious and real needs by adding table management into our platform."

Quickcue's Table Management tools include floor maps customized by the company for each restaurant, and the ability to assign shifts and sections, add timers, servers, guest names and party size to each table. Seating efficiency functions include pre-assigning, reserving and combining tables, while simple color cues show the status of every table (open, seated, dirty, closed).

The App also offers multiple device syncing giving staff the ability to update the host stand with new arrivals, check the wait list and change table status from anywhere.

Mr. Ferger said, "Guests love the text and voice paging, allowing them the freedom to wait where they want to wait, and opening up the restaurant's lobby for new arrives. Hosts and servers also love the one-touch tags and custom notes that add key information about each guest's visit, and captures it in an archive so they can tailor and enhance future visits."

Jury Awards 25 City Police Personnel Total Of $562,000 On Claims That Pay Plan Was Not Followed

A Chancery Court jury on Wednesday gave a verdict totaling $562,000 for 25 city police personnel who filed suit almost five years ago alleging that the city never lived up to terms of a 2010 pay plan.
