Regina Kaye York, 47, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Monday, February 4, 2013 in a local hospital.
She was a graduate of East Ridge High School and was senior tax advisor and administrative assistant with H&R Block.
She was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister in the world.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Smith, Sr. and a sister, Becky Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas York; daughter, Marchelle (Paul) Lusk of Ringgold; two stepchildren, Joshua York and Alexus York, both of Cumming, Ga.; granddaughter, Maggie Lusk of Ringgold; mother and stepfather, Norma and David Porter of Chattanooga; two sisters, Angela (Danny) Camp of Kennesaw, Ga., and Lisa Hartley of Chattanooga; two brothers, Tommy (Karen) Smith of Ringgold, and Mike Smith of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home.
