With my travels and my age, I have begun to see the importance of the local elections in our town.  With this in mind I’m excited that Roger Tuder is running for City Council in District 2.  The face of our city is changing and our local government has to do the same.  

I have realized that the only way to make things better in our city is to entrust our local government in the right hands; to people who care more about making things better for their neighbors than about personal agenda or government benefits.

 Based on the needs of the city at this time, Roger Tuder is the one for the job in District 2.

Roger Tuder’s stance on personal safety is very important for District 2 because it’s not just focused on gangs, but how to encourage a different life style-decision.  He plans to accomplish this by working with organizations that have innovative ways of reaching them with programs with their future in mind. But for the ones who don’t make the style-decision, he will work with a strong police force, which is exactly what our neighborhoods need.  Residents in district 2 deserve to have a sense of security and feel at ease in our own community.  

Please join me in supporting Roger Tuder for City Council so that he can make Chattanooga a safer place for us all.

It is a great pleasure for me to endorse my good friend, Roger Tuder, for Councilman of District 2 (essentially North Chattanooga to Northgate).

Roger, a native Chattanoogan of humble origin, became a very successful banker before agreeing to serve as executive director of Associated General Contractors, an organization of 200 members representing 1,600 employees at its peak. As director of AGC, Roger voluntarily attended the great majority of City Council meetings.

Roger understands and appreciates the strengths and challenges facing our great city.

Roger certainly understands finances and budgets. He will assure that as taxpayers we get the most value out of our tax dollars and will vote to eliminate wasteful projects

Roger is totally independent in his thinking. He has no allegiance to any special interest nor has he ever been part of the city government and its cliques.

He does not need any “on the job training” but understands what is necessary to move our City forward under a new administration.

As an independent small businessman, I heartily appreciate his willingness to serve when service is his only goal.

I have observed Roger in his life as a husband, father, and adoring grandfather to his two little granddaughters.

I anticipate that voter turn-out will be very light. Your making the effort to vote for Roger Tuder is extremely important to our City and its continued positive move forward.
