Walker County Sheriff’s Office To Hold Citizen’s Academy Beginning In March

Tuesday, February 5, 2013
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office will conduct the third Sheriff’s Citizen’s Academy beginning March 4, at the Sheriff Ralph H. Jones Training Center.
 
Classes are held on Mondays, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. for 10 weeks. There is no charge to attend.
 
For the first time, students aged 13–17 can attend when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 
An application can be printed at www.walkerso.com under the Prevention link. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25.
