The Northside/Riverfront Community Association in consort with the Hill City Neighborhood Association will be sponsoring a Candidates Forum for City Council District 1 and 2 seats at the Chattanooga Theatre Center on Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
It is expected that all of the qualified candidates for both Districts 1 and 2 positions will be in attendance, officials said.
These would include Tom McCullough, Chip Henderson, Jim Folkner and Pat Hagan competing for the District 1 open seat being vacated by the current councilperson Deborah Scott and Jerry Mitchell, Priscilla Simmons and Roger Tuder contending for the seat to be vacated by the longterm councilperson Sally Robinson in District 2.
The event is free and open to the public.
The candidates will make opening statements followed by written questions from the public.
