YPAC Announces Finalists For 2013 YP Awards

The Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC) announced the finalists for its 2013 YP Awards. In its sixth year, the YP Awards recognize notable young professionals and YP friendly businesses and organizations in the greater Chattanooga area. Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain is the luncheon’s headline sponsor.

Ted Alling, co-founder and CEO of Access America Transport, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event, slated for Friday, Feb. 22, from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m., at the DoubleTree Hotel downtown. The public is invited to attend. Individual tickets and corporate tables are available online.

Rogers, 20, Shot Twice While Standing On His Porch

A 20-year-old man was shot twice while standing on his porch on Monday night. At approximately 8:44 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Walker Street.
