Anthony “Tony” Dixon, 37, of East Ridge, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in a local hospital.

He enjoyed fishing, sports, animals and was a great Florida Gator fan.  He was also of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynda Dixon, grandparents, Otto and Willena Dixon and Pauline and Sam Clayton.

Survivors include his children, Austin Dixon, Aspen Chandler, Hayden Wilson and Taylor Dixon, girlfriend, Julie Wooten, father, Glen Dixon, sister, Kristy (Gary) Richey, brothers, Tim and Brian Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Anthony Dixon Memorial Fund at any branch of the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at noon in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 8, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
