Kendrick, Jo Ann (Summerville)

Jo Ann Kendrick, 72, of Summerville, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness.  

A native of Bartow County, GA, she was born to the late Herman and Lola Smith Wilkey on May 12, 1940.  Along with her husband Mrs. Kendrick was former Owner and Operator of The Round Table Restaurant.            

Survivors include her husband, William Harold Kendrick; daughter, Cheryl Ann Mobbs; son, Thomas Harold Kendrick, all of Summerville; three grandchildren, Allison Joanna Harris, Bianca Diane Mobbs, and Tylen Harold Kendrick; brother, Troy Wilkey of Summerville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8 at 2 p.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Mercer officiating. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers will be Gary Witt, Dewayne Copeland, Billy Cook, Tracy Maddux, Shannon Goins, Bryant Dodd and Bill Tutton. Honororary pallbearers are members of the LaFayette Police Department. 

Visitation will be Friday, February 8 from 12-2 p.m. at the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
