Winifred T. Pike, 89, of Naples, Florida, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. 

Survivors are Mrs. Rachel P. Kearns of St. Augustine, Fla., Mrs. Ann P. Scroggins, of Chattanooga, Ms. Laurel S. Pike of Atlanta, and Mrs. Martha “Babe” Ratliff of Auburn, Ala., eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.

Chattanooga Police Officer Shot 3 Times In East Chattanooga; Later Is Released From Hospital; Manhunt On For Shooter

A Chattanooga Police officer was shot three times on Thursday morning in East Chattanooga. The incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Mission Avenue near Glenwood Drive.
