Local Men To Strut Their Stuff In “Fashion Show With A Twist”

Proceeds Benefit American Heart Association “Go Red For Women”

  • Friday, February 8, 2013

Male cardiac rehabilitation patients and family members of patients will strut their stuff on the fashion runway at Erlanger’s Chattanooga LifeStyle Center on Monday, at 11:15 a.m., as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign.

Back by popular demand, for the sixth year, “Fashion Show with a Twist” will feature cardiac rehabilitation patients and family members wearing red dresses, wigs, makeup and jewelry. Admission to the event is $10, which includes lunch and the show.  Audience members will vote for their favorite models by making donations of $1 per vote. Donations will also be collected during live and silent auctions.

Go Red for Women celebrates the power of women to band together to wipe out heart disease. Thanks to the participation of millions of people across the country, the color red and the red dress have become linked with the ability of all women to improve their heart health and live stronger, longer lives.
