Roger Tuder Is The Only Choice - And Response

Friday, February 08, 2013

I have always believed that principles should prevail over politics. For this reason, I believe that Roger Tuder is the only choice for District 2 City Council.  Roger is a person of high standards and life decisions that are actions of principles over politics, not just political rhetoric.

I have sought Roger’s advice many times especially when I was thinking of running for mayor. Roger’s institutional knowledge of city government, and his pragmatic business approach are hard to find. The public certainly understands that common sense and a business approach greatly benefit the city, considering the current state of affairs.

Roger Tuder is a family man that has been married to his wife for 40 years, served his country in the Army, and was entrusted with substantial financial decisions in the banking industry throughout his career.

When I was appointed to serve as Parks and Recreation director, I discovered numerous needs that were ignored, while wasteful pursuits were funded. The city needs an elected leadership with fresh ideas and a common sense spending approach, given the current bond debt and desire of the public for tax dollars to be used effectively and efficiently.

Please join me and vote for Roger Tuder, District 2 City Council on March 5.

After 21 years of friendship, I can say that I know Roger Tuder.

Roger’s a guy whose word is stronger than any contract you could ever sign.  He actually surprises most by going above and beyond an agreement to keep his word.

Roger Tuder has worked for every single success he’s enjoyed and brought a whole lot of folks with him.  I can’t remember a time when my friend wasn’t helping someone else get a job, get into a school program, fix something at their house, or connect a friend with another friend.  If we all did what Roger does, there would be no need for government programs.

There are politicians running for office in these city elections. Out of those running my friend Roger Tuder gets things done. Roger listens to those who’ve been ignored.  Roger intervenes when others pay lip-service.

Summing all this up:  If you want a real representative on the city council, Chattanooga, you need to vote for Roger Tuder.  He never asks for himself, but is first in line to serve others.  Vote for my friend Roger.

I remember one man in particular who had bone cancer and one night he said he rolled over in bed and literally broke his arm in a very simple ... (click for more)

Questionable Moc Coaching Choices - And Response (3)

David Blackburn proved that he rolled an elder vice chancellor to hire Will Wade. I can't find one game Wade coached. Should we think he is a better coach than the Georgia coach that won the SEC? At least four jobs were open in and around Wade's hometown, Nashville. No one mentioned his name. While Blackburn was preaching in the Chattanoogan Room about the fairness of the ...
