Grief/Share Support Group Offered At Lookout Mountain Presbyterian

A Grief/Share support group will begin a 12-week program on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, 310 North Bragg, Lookout Mountain. A workbook will cost $5.

"Freed to Give Up Our Freedom" will be the topic for worship services on Sunday, with text from Matthew 17:20-27. The sanctuary worship at 8:10, 9:30 and 11 a.m. will be led by Joe Novenson and the fellowship hall worship at 9:30 and 11 a.m. will be led by Frank Hitchings.


St. Timothy's Holds Family Mission Camp

St. Timothy's will hold its 2nd Annual Family Mission Camp from Monday, June 17 through Thursday, June20. There will be food, fun, and growing together.  Everyone is invited to attend. (click for more)

Woman Killed In Early-Morning Wreck On Thrasher Pike

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of Thrasher Pike early Saturday morning. Soddy Daisy Police Chief Phillip Hamrick said a female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Erlanger Hospital by LifeForce helicopter about 3:15 a.m. The driver was transported by Hamilton County EMS. It is believed he had non-life threatening injuries. ... City May Move Forward On $47 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

City officials may move forward on a $47 million project to upgrade the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge. The City Council on Tuesday is to consider a resolution to apply for a $25 million federal TIGER grant. The city would still have to come up with $21,825,000 through "local funds or grants."
