Grief/Share Support Group Offered At Lookout Mountain Presbyterian

A Grief/Share support group will begin a 12-week program on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, 310 North Bragg, Lookout Mountain. A workbook will cost $5.

"Freed to Give Up Our Freedom" will be the topic for worship services on Sunday, with text from Matthew 17:20-27. The sanctuary worship at 8:10, 9:30 and 11 a.m. will be led by Joe Novenson and the fellowship hall worship at 9:30 and 11 a.m. will be led by Frank Hitchings.

Thornhill Charged In February 2013 Burning Death Of Lucius Moss On Wilcox Boulevard

Ellis Bell Thornhill, 38, has been indicted by the Hamilton County Grand Jury on first-degree murder charges in the Feb. 7, 2013, death of 37-year-old Lucius Moss. A woman who Dalton Police say was stabbed Thursday by her husband has died of her injuries.   Glenda Dyer had been transported to Hamilton Medical Center.
