A nationally-known Abraham Lincoln impersonator will visit Nolan Elementary on Signal Mountain, on Wednesday. He will be at the school from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. He will be in character the entire time he is at the school, and each grade (Kindergarten-fifth) will spend about an hour with him, hearing his presentation and having a question and answer session with him.
His real name is Dennis Boggs. He has performed in several PBS and History Channel documentaries as well as in Washington, D.C. at the Lincoln Memorial as Mr. Lincoln. He has been doing this for 30 years. More information about him can be found here:

The Nolan PTA is paying for Mr. Lincoln to come to the school, thanks to a grant it received from the Tennessee Arts Commission.
