I want to thank the citizens who voted for me in the city of Chattanooga elections held this past Tuesday. Your vote is especially humbling for me considering the harsh weather you had to brave to do so in a low voter turnout election.
I also want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the many volunteers who stood in that same weather waving signs and working the polls for me that day. I will continue to work hard to merit that dedicated support.
I will also work to earn the support of those who choose not to cast their ballot for me in that election. It has been an honor to serve all the citizens of District 4 and I plan to continue addressing the important issues during the runoff election that we face as a city and as a district.
I have always tried to be accessible and would encourage everyone in District 4 to engage in this discussion of issues with me during this process.
