April Fryar Was Victim In Fatal Crash On Highway 153

Thursday, March 14, 2013

The victim of the traffic crash that occurred Wednesday at 5764 Highway 153 has been identified as April Fryar, from Soddy Daisy. The male driver of the Chevy that Ms. Fryar was an occupant in has been identified as James Floyd, also from Soddy Daisy.

Witness statements indicated that the light was about to change to red for southbound traffic, and that one or two cars in front of the Blazer began to slow for the light. The driver of the Blazer failed to slow down and instead swerved to the left into oncoming traffic where it was struck by the northbound tractor-trailer.

Charges may be filed pending the outcome of the crash investigation, reconstruction, and blood analysis from the drivers involved.
