Walls Of Color Gallery Features Artist Series And Artists Market

Thursday, March 14, 2013

Walls of Color Gallery, the newest department of Melrose Boutique, will host the first monthly “Featured Artist Series” Friday, April 5, from 5-8 p.m. The business is at 3204 Brainerd Road.

The Artistic Focus Series will allow area artists and residents to get together for an evening of art and conversation. A young artist will be highlighted each month and invited to show their work, and discus with the community their motivations and goals. The goal is a casual atmosphere and dress suitable for the occasion.

Walls of Color Gallery will also host the first monthly Artists Market on Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.  Bringing area artists and residents together is what the Artists Market is all about, giving rising area artists a venue to show and sell their work directly to the public.

For more information about Walls of Color Gallery and the Walls of Color Featured Artist Series contact Lauralei Kamees or Melanie Settles at 710-2305, or email wallsofcolor1018@gmail.com.
