Police Blotter: Shots Fired At Car Occupied By 3 Females On Arlington Avenue; Beth Center Windows Smashed

Police said a number of shots were fired at a car occupied by three females driving north in the 1100 block of Arlington Avenue.

The women said they were very frightened by the incident.

They sped from the scene and then stopped to examine the vehicle, which had four separate bullet holes on the left side.

Police said the left mirror, the left front door, the left rear door and the left rear quarter panel were hit.

The occupants did not see the shooter.

Officials of the Bethlehem Center in Alton Park said 15 windows were broken at the facility.

Some had cracks in them and others were shattered.

The damage was estimated at $10,000.

A black male went into Kay's Jewelers and asked to examine a ring worth over $8,000.

After he got it, he ran out the door.

He jumped into a white late 1990s Pontiac Sunfire.

Officials of Hudson Construction Company on Sholar Avenue said someone threw rocks at two work vehicles.

A 2010 Ford van had several windows broken and dents all over.

A 2012 Ford F-450 had the passenger side windows broken.

Jerome Marsh of Vance Avenue told an officer that he was warming up his truck and a man jumped in and drove off.

Examined a little more closely, he said he had traded the truck to a man for drugs.

Police called Tiwann Wiley and he returned the truck.

He said he gave $200 for it - not drugs.

Officers were called to check out a man on Kings Crest Lane who was again yelling and cursing in the street.

He said he was bemoaning the fact that his dog of 18 years had died.
