Cross-Cultural Business Training On Panama Is March 28

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce’s International Business Council will discuss ways to strengthen business relationships with immigrants of  Panamanian origin at its monthly meeting Thursday, March 28.

The meeting, sponsored by Ají Peruvian Restaurant, will take place from 5:30 7:30 p.m. at the INCubator, 100 Cherokee Blvd. International food will be provided at this free event. Advance registration is required by March 28.

Dr. Dan DeReuter from Natural Life Clinic will deliver the keynote presentation. The discussion will cover the following points of interest:  historical and demographic overviews of Panamá, Panamanian business culture and tips for developing enduring relationships with businesspeople of Panamanian origin.

Dr. DeReuter is originally from Colón, Panamá. He received his doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University and is certified in several advanced chiropractic techniques. Dr. DeReuter owns and operates Natural Life Clinic, which is dedicated to helping its clients lead healthy lives. He is an avid social media fanatic and is the father of two teen girls.

International Business Council meetings take place the fourth Thursday of each month and are open to Chattanooga Chamber members and non-members. Food and drinks are provided.

Federal Agents Seize Almost $6.8 Million From Bank Accounts Of Physician; Says He Has Submitted False Medicare Claims

Federal authorities have seized almost $6.8 million from bank accounts of an area physician. They said Dr. Raymond Sean Brown has submitted false Medicare claims. Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
