The Cleveland State Community College Nursing Department will be hosting a Health Fair on Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the George R. Johnson Cultural Heritage Center.
The Health Fair will give you the tips and tools necessary to get on the road to better health, whether you’re struggling with stress management, want to learn about stoke awareness, or are trying to stop smoking. Some other topics that will be covered include:

• Blood Assurance
• Blood Pressure
• Breast Self Exam
• Car Seat Safety
• Dental Care
• Nutrition and Eating Disorders
• Organ Donor Awareness
• Parental Wellness
• Skin Cancer
• Testicular Self Exam
“The Cleveland State Community College Department of Nursing is offering a community-wide Health Fair,” stated Jennifer Shearer, RN, MSN. “This is an opportunity for our graduating nursing students to provide health education to a wide variety of participants. We are proud of our graduates and want to offer the community a chance to see the high caliber nurses our local community college is producing.”
