18-Year-Old Shot Down In The Street

An 18-year-old was shot and killed in a Chattanooga street early Tuesday morning.

Chattanooga Police responded at 2:52 a.m. to a shots fired complaint in the 3200 block of 13th Avenue. When officers arrived, they located the victim, Eric Fluellen, 18, lying in the road. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives do not believe this was a random shooting based on evidence collected and witness statements. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
