Wayne's World Of Guns - And Response (3)

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

As the news coming forth regarding guns, background checks and other it is increasingly clear that nothing is going to be done about the proliferation of guns so I suggest rather then fight and write editorials we join ‘em.

Let me describe a franchise opportunity for the gun zealots. The name of the franchise is Wayne’s World of Guns. We could easily nationalize this idea and since the NRA is really only in the gun business why not sell guns via Wayne’s World?

We could dot them on every corner, next to the local church and convenient store. Guns would be available.  Bulk sales encouraged with no limits on ammo or gun purchases.   Big discounts would be available for the fella that wanted to begin his own militia movement, a one many shooting gallery. Discounts for children and the elderly.

Gun manufacturers would design guns for the small hands of the five year old and have classes in each location not for gun safety but how to wage war; shoot at police cars and kill each other.

I am being absurd and my intentions are to be absurd. Wayne LaPierre described reasonable people like me as insane at the CPac convention held last week. I think I know who is off the mark.

Robert,

Please be the first person to tell me how, no matter what type of gun regulations you suggest, will keep thugs from obtaining a gun.  Please.  You can rant all you wish about "gun zealots" or the NRA, but this is a simple question.  I beg for an answer.

I am a law abiding citizen and have never committed a crime.  Do you really want my gun?  Do you really think any kind of law will prevent a thug from obtaining any of the millions of firearms already out there?

While I'm posting here, may I make a suggestion?  Look at the criminal history of these thugs as their name is identified in the news.  Hamilton County has these on their website.  In most cases you'll see where our wonderful judicial system has seen them over and over and we sentence them to.... well "suspended sentence."  Seems to me that if our wimpy court system would display some "teeth," these little thugs would have a serious price to pay for their craft.

And once they have become a habitual criminal, as many have, they are put away.....forever.
It's very hard to obtain a gun and shoot an innocent person when sitting in prison.  At least I think so, never been there.

Robert, you are exactly right. Come to think of it, I believe guns is what killed the dinosaurs and if I'm not mistaken, Cain killed Adam with an AK 47 assault rifle. Those gun manufacturers are a sneaky crew.

How is it they enter our minds and make us shoot people? Oh, wait! It's the latest batch of elected politicians that do it (I remember reading that somewhere).

We have had mean ruthless people since the beginning. Yes, before guns. We have used rocks, clubs, spears, knives and the bow and arrow. So go ahead and take away everything. Next thing you know we'll have someone killing hundreds with the jaw bone of an ass, no wait. Samson already did that.

My point? It's the heart of a person. Not what's in their hand. Read the bible, much worse is coming and banning guns and making more stupid laws isn't going to change one single thing.

Jesus our judge is standing at the door. Be ready.

Mr. Brooks attempts to belittle gun owners, why?  Has he inhaled too much liberal media?  Does he really believe that crime is caused by guns, magazine capacity or law abiding gun owners?

Does he realize that there are most likely billions of guns, rounds and "high capacity" magazines out there.  He is so jaded that he literally assumes that gun owners support irresponsible gun ownership, ie, five-year-olds with guns and shooting at police cars.

This is clearly a shock and awe attempt by someone who is terribly uneducated on guns, origins of gun violence and gun owners.  If he had actually read the bill proposed he might understand why its so highly opposed.  Many gun owners are not opposed to background checks but in typical politician style it can't be that simple.  Much more is tact into the bill.

Mr. Brooks seems to not understand why the NRA exist, it's 100 percent for gun owner rights and zero percent for his views.  Of course, since this is America, a free country, people with his anti-gun mindset could create their own foundation and lobby for themselves.  These organizations don't create a wave because they are a minority opinion.  I'm confident in my stance as if I'm wrong there sure hasn't been proof of liberals putting their money where their mouth is.

The Regime's IRS Scandal Was Timed

Does anyone not realize the exact release of the IRS scandal was planned? Benghazi was lighting up, the heat was on. Hearings were going to be re-held, whistleblowers were standing in the wings and havoc was about to unleashed upon an inept group of buffoons, the Obama Regime.   I have no doubt that within the Halls of Power in Washington, the gig was already out on the ... A Few Good Men, A Few Yes Men

Kudos to Commissioner Beck and Mackey as they voiced their opinion and opposition to the vehicle emissions contract in representing their constituents. I find it fitting that it was reported as a “new pact” and the perks received by the state and county although increased still doesn’t come close to the $6.20 that goes to the well-connected people of EnviroTest. The ... (click for more)
