4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt At Warner Park Is March 28

The City of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Department will host the fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt at Warner Park, free to the public, Thursday, March 28, from 5-7 p.m.

30,000 candy-filled Easter eggs will be up for grabs to hundreds of young boys and girls along with plenty of activities for all age groups. This year, selected age groups will take the field searching and enjoying eggs starting at four and under, five to six years old, seven to eight years old, nine to 10 years old, and 11-12 years old.

Before the hunt begins, children and their families can enjoy giveaways, music, concessions, games, arts and crafts, face painting, bounce house and more. This year will also feature an Easter Costume Contest and visits with the Easter Bunny.

The City of Chattanooga’s Prevention and Youth Development Department will provide a stage and lively music for participants to enjoy. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with hunts expected by 6 p.m.

Library Offers New Baby Bounce Program

The Chattanooga Public Library now offers Baby Bounce, a unique story time for newborns to 18 month-old-children and their caregivers. Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
