Mitch McClure Speaks On "It Did Hurt!" On Sunday

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, Tennessee, has adopted the theme, "In Christ Alone," for the month of March.  Pastor Mitch McClure said, "I shall be preaching specially developed sermons each week in March. March 2013 provides us the opportunity to lift up the reality that our salvation is through Christ alone. As I preach this Sunday, my purpose will be to engage those attending to understand that Jesus Christ suffered greatly during the time of the crucifixion.  His pain and suffering was for the redemption of humanity and demonstrates the love that Jesus Christ has for us."

Pastor McClure will speak on the topic, "It Did Hurt!" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday.

Pastor McClure will lead the church in a time of Scripture reading and worship in the 6:30 p.m. service on Sunday. The church is participating in the READ Initiative of the Church of God.  READ encourages all to read the Bible on a daily basis with the goal of reading the Bible through in 2013.
